The Lucy Faithfull Foundation is a UK-wide charity dedicated to preventing child sexual abuse. It works to protect children by supporting and intervening with people who may be at risk of harming a child, helping families affected by abuse, providing advice and training to professionals, and running services such as the Stop It Now! helpline. The charity also carries out research and advocates for policies that focus on preventing abuse before it happens.
Safer Lives are an organisation who offer many programmes to help you through all stages of the process. From their ‘Safer Lives Program’ to Post Charge and Post Sentence consultations, their experience and knowledge is second to none.
Although the NHS can’t provide much help in situations like these, the Talking Therapies service is a really good and free programme which can help treat other aspects of what you might be feeling including depression, anxiety and stress using many types of therapy including CBT, MBCT and guided self help.
StopSO are a charity based organisation who offer a wide range of services including therapy for yourself, partners, families and many more to help form a better understanding of the situation.
